The Americano

Latte
Is a milk coffee that is a made up of one or two shots of espresso, steamed milk and a final, thin layer of frothed milk on top. If you don't drink dairy milk, you can easily swap it for a plant-based alternative like soy, oat or coconut milk.

Double Espresso
Is a double shot which is extracted using double the amount of ground coffee in a larger-sized portafilter basket. This results in 60 ml of drink, double the amount of a single shot espresso. Doppio is Italian multiplier, meaning 'double'.
Single Espresso
A single espresso is a concentrated coffee beverage made by forcing hot water through finely-ground coffee beans under high pressure. It typically consists of about 1 ounce (30 milliliters) of coffee with a rich, bold flavor and a creamy layer of crema on top. It’s the base for many other coffee drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos.
